Gin and Tonic
Gin and tonic's simple recipe definitely puts it into the category of Highball cocktails; the modifications by the spanish bartending scene, however, broke with a bunch of conventions. Besides the use of longdrink glasses, one new introduction is the use of balloon glasses. Their advantage will already be known to wine connoisseurs: Aromas get more room to unfold and the stems make it possible to hold the glasses without warming up and diluting the cocktail.
